Pirate Jewelry
These tyrants of sea were probably the most macho men of their day. We’ve all heard lore of pirates after treasure. But it’s not just golden coins they were after. They so coveted the rare jewels and shimmery metals that we today still find enticing. Pirates donned their prizes by wearing massive amounts of chains, rings and even earrings. Nobody dare called these jewelry wearing men sissies unless they wanted to walk the plank.

Watches are Manly
Few items are as essential and manly as a good, solid watch, and what you wear says much about who you are as a man. Many cultures encourage men to wear jewelry, and while professions and politics often discourage these accessories, a watch remains universal. A watch denotes responsibility. A man with a good watch is a man with things to do and places to be. Today, men have multiple watch options — from the inexpensive to the luxurious. In between, there are the sport watches and the vintage varieties. You may not need a watch capable of an Everest accent, but you certainly feel better with one on your wrist, which is why choosing the right watch for your lifestyle (or the lifestyle you want) and your personality is so important.

The Gentleman Caller
One must not participate in habberdashery. It is of the utmost concern that a gentleman project an air of sophistication without misrepresenting himself as a dandy. Therefore, it is considered kosher to don a ring on ones pinky finger when exercising more flippant social interaction. Especially if such occasion includes theatrical proclivities. Cheers good sir!
Blang Blang
While there is no question that a rapper is good at ACTING macho, many still question how hard they really are. Unless of course you’re 50 cent, in which case surviving nine gun shots to the midsection more or less secures your spot in the macho hall of fame. And you know that a guy like fiddy spent way more than half a dollar on his bling…

Jewelry endorsed by barbarians.
If ever there was a conclusive testament to the manliness of jewelry, it is found right here. Conan the Barbarian, known for his sun-dipped tan, long flowing locks, Freudian “sword” and of course the bling.

#1 Manly Jewelry Image on Google
In effort to determine what others deem “manly jewelry” I did a Google Image search for this term expecting to find some prime examples of manly men in gold and diamonds. Interestingly enough the image below is the number one image result for “manly jewelry”. I see nothing particularly manly here myself. Definitely odd. I had to share. Personally, I think Google may be off a bit or do others think this is somehow cool?

An obvious choice I know, but when you think manly jewelry isn’t Mr. T the first thing that pops into your head? This sparkling image I believe really captures it too.
